Texas Council Of Fly Fishing International
Fly Fishers International (FFI) has been an organized voice for fly fishers around the world since 1964. We represent all aspects of fly fishing – from the art of fly tying and fly casting to the protection of nature’s systems that support healthy fisheries essential to our sport. Fly Fishers International’s (FFI) mission since 1964 is to ensure the legacy of fly fishing for all fish in all waters continues by focusing on conservation, education, and a sense of community.
The Texas Council oversees and coordinates 22 FFI clubs and over 1,000 FFI members in Texas. The Council acts to coordinate fly fishing education, events, public outreach efforts, and conservation opportunities among Texas Clubs. We are the liaison between the national organization and the local members. We are here to help the local clubs plan and share their events and help solve their problems.
