- Put May 29-31 on your calendar, as the Texas Council will be having our 2nd Expo, in New Braunfels, TX. We will continue to educate Texans on the many ways to fly fish in Texas. “Destination Texas” will focus on “All Fish, All Waters!!!” This will be a Friday, Saturday, Sunday show, with plans for exciting activities throughout the weekend. Keep up with the Expo on Facebook, or http://txflyfishexpo.com/.
- How many of you anglers spend your time fishing in rivers? Before the days of big dams storing water and providing electricity, TP&WD and anglers spent all of their time fishing and supporting our river systems. Times have changed, and they are more fishing options than ever before. However, if you are like many of us, rivers are so special to us, and access to these prime locations is something we pursue. Well we have exciting news for you, and need your help. The Texas Council is currently looking for ways to get new access to the rivers we love to fish. Please share with us locations that you know of that might become a new river access location that we could all enjoy. Stay tuned for more exciting news.
- Want to advertise a special event in your area, or by your club? Looking for that something to do? Want to plan an event, and don’t want that event to interfere with something else?
